Historical League of Nations

The League of Nations was an international organization established in 1920 after World War I to promote peace and prevent future conflicts. It aimed to resolve disputes through diplomacy and cooperation, but faced major weaknesses such as lack of enforcement power and the absence of key countries. The League lasted until 1946, when it was replaced by the United Nations after failing to prevent the outbreak of World War II.
